let's whip that brand into shape
Thanks so much for your continued support. My business and brand has seen many chapters, and while this was one of them, please consider joining me in the current chapter. I am now a brand developer/photographer and fractional CMO for fellow small business owners. If you’d like to follow along, you can sign up for my email list here!
Small-town charm defined Caitlin & Mason’s wedding day. As Caleb and I navigated 35mph roads on the way to their wedding, we thought for sure we were lost. But it wasn’t long before we stumbled upon a beautiful country retreat by the name of Rocky Branch Farm in Mecklenburg, Virginia, just 19 miles from the North Carolina state line.
When we arrived, we were greeted by beautiful landscaping and the smiling bride and her bridesmaids. I immediately felt welcome as one of her bridesmaids, Erin, offered to pour me a mimosa…seriously, Erin is my spirit animal, and I wish I was as bubbly and fun-loving as she was all day long.
Caitlin’s bouquet was quite unique—it was made entirely of wood! It had tones of peach, blush and white and simple greenery. Her garter was her something blue, while she used a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress as her something old. She also had her great grandmother’s handkerchief that she carried with her down the aisle and used multiple times throughout the heartfelt day. They exchanged letters before the ceremony…it is my favorite when couples do that! Their expressions are priceless.
Her lace dress and eight-foot train was elegant as she walked down the aisle to her groom. Mason, a naturally stoic man, couldn’t stifle his smile as Caitlin walked toward him.
Once we made it to the reception, we learned that there was a “shot schedule” for taking tequila shots with the bride. What a genius idea! We made sure we set a timer to catch the group “shot” at 7 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Thankfully we were able to sneak out between shot shifts to grab some beautiful golden hour images.
We concluded the night with a bang; fireworks and a sparkler exit lit up the night to send Caitlin and Mason off for the evening into their newlywed bliss!
Let's talk business.
