They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, right? In that case, Meagan and Sean will have the best luck ever! Despite the rain persisting throughout their wedding day, their love for one another shone through the rain drops and cloudy skies!

When couples decide to do a first look, it always makes my heart so happy! It is a sweet moment that they get to enjoy just the two of them (plus the photographer, of course!) before the whirlwind of the wedding day hits them and they are whisked off to the ceremony, game hour (yes, I said game instead of cocktail—more on that in a second!), and reception. Immediately once Sean saw Meagan in her dress, her nerves were calmed and she was ready to walk down the aisle and say, “I do!”

These two like to do things their own [caffeinated] way—on the way from the ceremony to the reception, they stopped at the local Starbucks to pick up a pick-me-up before heading to their portraits and game hour. Instead of a cocktail hour, Meagan and Sean hosted a game hour that embodied their love for board games! Battleship, Clue, and Uno are just a few games that made appearances that kept guests entertained during game hour! I love this unique touch to the traditional wedding day.

Meagan, an extremely crafty elementary school music teacher, was the mastermind and craftswoman behind all the decor at their wedding! From the hangers for their dresses to the signs at the reception, she did it all (and did it impeccably well!). It’s just a matter of time before I try to talk her into opening her own Etsy shop!

Their reception was festive, with the kids stealing the show out on the dance floor! The little ones had so much fun showing off all their dance moves. After a few dances, the guys snuck outside to celebrate the new couple with some cigars. I wish I knew more about different types of cigars; alas, I am no cigar connoisseur, but I do know they were special to mark the occasion!

At the end of the night, the rain lessened to a drizzle and the happy couple and their guests slipped out for a sparkler exit to send them off to their life as newlyweds!
