Manassas is a popular spot for sessions, and rightfully so. Not only is it a historic place, but it’s so picturesque with its open fields, unique fences, beautiful light, and during the fall the breathtaking foliage. Despite the cloudiness we had at Ashley and Keith’s session, it was still as picturesque as ever!

Ashley and Keith are high school sweethearts! Well, sort of…they didn’t go to the same high school, but met through friends and started dating their senior year of high school and as Ashley says, “The rest is history!” These two are already beginning their lives together as a couple. They just purchased their first house and are so excited to make it a home.

I knew Ashley and Keith would be my kinda people when I put them in their first pose and Ashley said, “Oh my gosh, that’s so cute!!” and immediately cuddled right into Keith. Her enthusiasm made the entire session so much fun. When my couples are into it, that brings my excitement to a whole other level! That enthusiasm makes her perfect for her job as an elementary school teacher. Keith is a state trooper, and it just simply makes my heart happy to serve those who serve our communities. Thank you to both Ashley and Keith for giving back to our world!

Ashley and Keith got engaged in July, although Ashley was suspecting the proposal would come mid-Spring. Keith had hired a photographer for a couples session for Ashley’s Christmas present and they set the session date for April. Well, we all know that COVID wasn’t going to let that happen, so it got postponed until after the state opened back up in the summer. Ashley didn’t know that Keith had been waiting on that photo session to propose! Finally, he did and of course she said yes!

They have set their wedding date for just a day shy from one year of being engaged. Ashley and Keith, I cannot wait for your Morais Vineyard wedding. It is going to be just as fabulous as the two of you!
